While Start at the Beginning is her first novel, Annmarie Fabbricatore began writing professionally by collaborating with Ines Basso Glick, creating the librettos for The Winner: A Brooklyn Fable and Mentality. A former teacher, she lives with her husband Eric and their dog Teddy, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
